FIT TIPS
- Size Down for Optimal Fit: Choose a size 2-3 sizes smaller than your best-fitting training suit or one size smaller than your standard tech suit size. If you’re between sizes, go with the smaller size for the best fit.
- The Right Fit May Feel Surprising: The HydroX is designed to go on more easily than other tech suits. For female swimmers especially, it may feel “too easy” to put on. If it fits comfortably, that’s a good sign – you don’t need to size down further.
- Comfortable Compression and Support: The suit should feel like a second skin without overly tight compression. You should be able to move freely without feeling restricted, especially when bending down into a start position.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Rinse immediately after use with cool, non-chlorinated water.
- Do not machine wash or use any type of soap/fabric softener.
- Lay flat to dry; do not use any type of dyer.
- Store in a cool, dry environment.

– The HydroX is a game-changer!
The HydroX suit has been a game changer for me. I ride the water higher and feel more freedom of movement, while keeping all the benefits of compression. In simpler terms, it makes me feel fast! The super surprising aspect of the suit is that I can put it on by myself, as the shoulder straps are tight but flexible. Every other tech suit I’ve worn cuts into my shoulders and as a distance swimmer my shoulders don’t get tight in long races. This change has helped me set some records and improve my times like never before. I’m 5’8 inches tall and I weigh 128. In the HydroX I wear a 22 for my longer races and a 20 for my shorter races. This is the most comfortable suit ever, allowing me to focus on my swimming. Thank you FINIS for creating another cutting edge product!

– Game changer
There is so much to love about this suit! I guess the first and most important thing: it is super fast, makes me ride high in the water and feel like a rocket! No doubt, this suit made the difference in me setting multiple National records in distance events last year. It is the only suit I have ever worn that did not put pressure on my shoulders which made me stay strong through my entire race and not think about how my shoulders hurt. It is tight yet easy to put on. I would highly recommend this suit as it is beautiful, durable and fast! Once again, Finis has produced another cutting edge product for the swimming. Thank you!

– Dream Suit
I became a die-hard Speedo speed suit swimmer at Stanford and after until I was convinced to try TYR, only to find the HydroX as the answer to my dreams. I can finally BREATHE when racing…huge improvements!
